BONUS REBATE PROGRAM - LIMITED TIME OFFER

Howdy, Energy Partners!

Did you know that T12 lighting is being run out of town?*
Rochester Public Utilities is forming a posse to help customers buy energy efficient lighting. And you can hop on the bandwagon!

In addition to standard commercial lighting rebates, we're offerin' up a $2 BONUS REBATE per qualifying lamp installed. So lasso and hog tie those T12s, buckaroos! ( See full rebate application for details .) And gitty up, 'cause retrofitting must be completed between January 1 and June 30, 2010 to qualify for a bonus rebate.

* On July 1, 2010, T12 magnetic ballasts will no longer be manufactured.

Here's how you hog tie those bonus rebates:

1. Contact an OPU representative for pre-approval and availability of funds.
2. Replace your existing T12 lighting with T8, super T8, low wattage T8, or T5 lighting between January 1 and June 30, 2010. (These lamps are up to 30% more efficient and last up to 4,000 hours* longer than T12s!)
3. Complete the T12 Roundup Bonus Rebate Application along with a standard Commercial Lighting Rebate Application and submit them together by September 30, 2010 to OPU.

Energy Audits

          An energy audit is the first step in determining how you can improve profits by saving energy.  OPU covers 25% of the cost.  The cost to you for facilities less than 25,000 square feet is $450.  The cost for facilities greater than 25,000 square feet will vary depending on size and complexity.  Energy Audit Brochure.
