Natural gas is the cleanest burning fossil fuel, making it an environmentally friendly energy source.  Our commercial natural gas rebate program encourages the purchase and use of the most energy efficient natural gas equipment.

Commercial Boilers (100,000 – 12,500,000 Btu) 85% $170 per 100,000 BTUH + $20 per 100,000 BTUH x (New Efficiency Rate – 85)
Commercial Boilers (100,000 – 12,500,000 Btu) 88% $270 per 100,000 BTUH + $20 per 100,000 BTUH x (New Efficiency Rate – 88)
Boiler Tune-up Minimum Size 100,000 BTUH $50 per boiler or 25% of cost up to $250 
Fully Modulating Burners Retrofit to Existing Boiler $45 per 100,000 BTUH input, not to exceed 25% of equipment and installation cost
Reset and Cut-out Controls for Boilers Retrofit to Existing Boiler $150 per control system, not to exceed equipment cost
Stack Dampers for Boilers Retrofit to Existing Boiler $25 per 100,000 BTUH input, not to exceed 35% of equipment and installation cost
Turbulators for Fire Tube Boiler Retrofit to Existing Boiler 35% of equipment & installation cost; not to exceed $750 per boiler
Commercial Water Heaters 88% TE $200 per 100,000 BTUH input
Indirect Water Heaters Installed with a boiler that has an efficiency of at least 90% $250
Commercial Furnaces 92% AFUE $100 per 100,000 BTUH input
Commercial Furnaces 95% AFUE $200 per 100,000 BTUH input
Commercial Furnaces 96% AFUE or higher $300 per 100,000 BTUH input
Infrared Heaters Low Intensity Tube Type $250
Unit or Duct Heaters 83% TE $300, not to exceed 25% of equipment cost
Programmable Thermostats Thermostat must control primary heating system $25 – Not to exceed cost of thermostat
Furnace Fan Motors Rate “E” Electrical Efficient Furnace by AHRI (Rated As AMACF) $125
Steam Trap Replacements Steam Trap Survey Required 35% of repair/replacement equipment cost
Custom Rebates Case-by-case, pre-approved by utility 

Rebate Calculated using the lesser of the following three methods.

  1. $0.75 per annual therm saved
  2. 25% of the project cost
  3. Amount to reduce payback to 1 year
